Privacy Policy

Prompt Vault is private by default. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of your data. There is no account, no server, and no analytics.
What the extension stores
Your prompts, folders, and settings, saved with Chrome's built-in storage
(chrome.storage.sync). They stay on your device and sync across the Chrome browsers where you
are signed in to your Google account. That sync is handled entirely by Google Chrome — Prompt Vault has no
server and never receives a copy.
What the extension does NOT do
- No data is sent to the developer or any third party.
- No tracking, advertising, fingerprinting, or analytics.
- No selling or sharing of data.
- No collection of browsing history, personal information, or the content of your AI conversations. The extension only reads the chat text you explicitly ask it to (inserting a prompt or capturing the last message), and that text stays on your device.
